No, Bill Randell didn't end his sabbatical from blogging.
It's a sign from Worcester, NY.

"Perhaps the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not yet sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom. But the tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason." -From "Common Sense," by Thomas Paine

Ah, old, almost abandoned Route 7! Traveled past there a number of times while attending June's Athletic Camp in 1969 and '70 and bought a six pack of Yoo Hoo! in '69 in anticipation of celebrating a New York Mets World Series championship. Sad how that highway just ripped the soul out of the little towns in the region ... Any other shots?
On our way across NY, we stayed in the Worcester White House Inn! I shall dig up the photo for you, Sean!
I found this shot on another blog which I randomly read. It just cracked me up that I ended up with a Worcester reference.
